Jean and Ray Kadkhodaian were married on Valentine's Day and live in the Chicago area with their two sons, Alec and Dean. They met at Roosevelt University while studying in the Clinical Psychology Masters Program and have over 12 years of experience in mental health. Their passion to help others create extraordinary lives and relationships inspired them to found The Lighthouse which provides a refreshing new approach to emotional wellness & natural healing.

They studied at the International Coach Academy and The Leidecker Institute for Hypnosis. They are members of the International Coach Federation, The International Association of Coaches, The National Guild of Hypnotists and the International Association of Medical and Therapeutic Specialists.

They coauthored and self-published a book entitled, "Good Boundaries - Great Relationships", and publicly speak to audiences on a wide variety of topics.

For those of our clients who may need the assistance of medication therapy, our resident psychiatrist, Dr. Kadkhodaian, takes a conservative approach to the use of psychotropic medications in combination with the holistic services that The Lighthouse provides.
In addition to traditional Pastoral Counseling services, Sally specializes in working with individuals diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, assisting them with positive coping skills and goal setting, and working with women in transitions.
Trained and certified in massage therapy, Rosalinda, in collaboration with Nicole Miller, has developed a specialization of massage therapy called Emotion-Focused Body Therapy tailored for the specific emotion work offered at The Lighthouse. She has a multitude of treatment modalities at her disposal such as: Lomi Lomi, Shiatsu, deep tissue, sonic entrainment, meditation, meridian and energy work.
Trained and licensed in acupuncture and oriental medicine, Tom, brings his expertise in Eastern and integrative medicine to The Lighthouse. His practice in this modality is the culmination of over ten years of study, practice, and research in multiple fields of alternative and integrative healthcare.

Mariko Wiseberg, is currently the Senior Coordinator of Emergency Services at a community mental health agency in addition to working with The Lighthouse. Her experience in mental health, and especially with children and adolescents, is an asset to the comprehensive services that The Lighthouse provides for the families we work with.
Kerry Ito, is currently the Career Development Director at a downtown Chicago social service agency in addition to working with The Lighthouse. After working almost 20 years in corporate human resources for companies such as Bankers Life and Casualty, the Chicago Tribune and Harris Bank, she went through a career crisis of her own. Finding corporate life unfulfilling and stressful, she decided to make a major career change and go back to school for a Master's in Mental Health Counseling at Roosevelt University. Patricia Forde, having been licensed in the State of Illinois as a cosmotologist and having extensive corporate experience, brings her talent for assisting our clients in presenting a successful image, both in their personal and professional life.
