Jean and Ray Kadkhodaian were married on Valentine's Day and live in the Chicago area with their two sons, Alec and Dean. They met at Roosevelt University while studying in the Clinical Psychology Masters Program and have over 12 years of experience in mental health. Their passion to help others create extraordinary lives and relationships inspired them to found The Lighthouse which provides a refreshing new approach to emotional wellness & natural healing.

They studied at the International Coach Academy and The Leidecker Institute for Hypnosis. They are members of the International Coach Federation, The International Association of Coaches, The National Guild of Hypnotists and the International Association of Medical and Therapeutic Specialists.

They coauthored and self-published a book entitled, "Good Boundaries - Great Relationships", and publicly speak to audiences on a wide variety of topics.

She has a multitude of treatment modalities at her disposal such as: Lomi Lomi, Shiatsu, deep tissue, sonic entrainment, meditation, meridian and energy work.

Clarice joins The Lighthouse with a rich background in addictions and crises intervention. Currently she is pursuing an additional degree in nursing, which adds to her knowledge base of health psychology.

Melissa Heisler

Mind-Body Coach

Melissa Heisler spent decades resisting the life she was meant to lead. Finally after a debilitating illness and a magical journey to Peru, she accepted her life as a healer. Melissa is now dedicated to helping others gain greater awareness of their body and mind in order to actively transform their lives. Melissa is certified in PSYCH-Kョ, studied life coaching under Dr. Martha Beck, and is a member of the International Association of Coaching.

Kerry Ito, is currently the Career Development Director at a downtown Chicago social service agency in addition to working with The Lighthouse. After working almost 20 years in corporate human resources for companies such as Bankers Life and Casualty, the Chicago Tribune and Harris Bank, she went through a career crisis of her own. Finding corporate life unfulfilling and stressful, she decided to make a major career change and go back to school for a Master's in Mental Health Counseling at Roosevelt University. Oriental Medicine Clinician

Mia Lahoz, having been trained in Seattle, joins The Lighthouse staff adding her comprehensive knowledge of oriental medicine and acupuncture to the list of integrative health services offered. Her extensive background in the mental health field and her experience with emotional disorders, provides her the expertise to provide integrative health services for our clients at The Lighthouse. It is this perfect blend of Eastern and Western practices that makes our services unique.

Karee Rubinstein-Wallach, MA, LCPC

Karee's extensive counseling background and experience with adults, children and adolescents, brings a wide variety of counseling modalities to The Lighthouse. Her skills benefit all those struggling with adjustment and life transitions, specifically parents challenged with family issues.
